Taste the Sunshine of North West Honey

Pure, Raw Honey Straight from the Hive

Discover the sweet goodness of North West Honey, crafted with love and care by a retired couple in the charming town of Venterskroon. Our passion for bees and their incredible work has blossomed into a thriving business, offering you pure, raw honey that captures the essence of our region.

Our Story

Born from a deep appreciation for nature, our journey began as a hobby. Living amidst the beauty of the North West Province, we were inspired by the abundant flora that provided a perfect haven for honey bees. Our bees have the privilege of foraging on a diverse range of plants, including pecan nuts, “haak en steek” trees, blue gums, aloe flowers, and the vibrant blooms from our own gardens.

Our Process

We believe in preserving the natural integrity of honey. When our hives are full, we carefully collect the frames, taking great care to avoid disturbing the bees. The honey is then extracted through a gentle process that involves cutting the wax caps and allowing the honey to drain naturally.

Respecting the Bees

After the honey is extracted, we return the drained frames to the hives. This allows the bees to clean them thoroughly, ensuring a hygienic environment for future honey production. By respecting the bees and their natural processes, we maintain the sustainability of our beekeeping practices.
